Is that Peter Griffin?

It’s been a big week for South Park

First, we learned Trey Parker and Matt Stone have retained legal counsel in their ongoing dispute with Paramount. The frequent collaborators have been involved in a heated, months-long back and forth with the streamer. In June, the pair sent a lengthy letter to Paramount about alleged shady dealings, claiming that the streamer has interfered with Parker and Stone’s attempts to find a new home for the series come 2027.

Second, Isaac Hayes III spoke to us about how much South Park meant to his father, who he says “never would’ve left” the show, and that the decision to leave was “made for him” after that one infamous Scientology episode. “My dad loved Matt and Trey. He loved the character of Chef. He loved the show. He loved what it meant. He would have stayed involved all the way until right now. To this day, he would still be on the show. That’s the part that frustrates me,” Hayes III explained.

In less frustrating news, we have this week’s funniest tweets for you to laugh at. The most hilarious posts include those about a real hustler, a concert outfit and bloodless women.
