Greg Gutfeld Dares ‘Weirdos’ to Menace Him at His Live Shows
It’s a stretch to say that on the September 18th edition of his show, Gutfeld!’s Greg Gutfeld was “making points.” He did have a lot of things to rant about, though, using his victory lap over Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension to denigrate the news anchors who’ve come to his defense.
After noting that Kimmel hasn’t lost his right to free speech, and could still tell jokes, “malign Charlie, and lie about his killer” in places off broadcast TV — “I hear Gaza is nice this time of year!” — Gutfeld suggested that Kimmel do a live show: “Hold an outdoor rally and invite everyone. That’s what Charlie would do! But I get it, you’re not Charlie. You’re not even close. Maybe it’s just better to stay in-studio with metal detectors and security.”
FWIW: Audience members at Gutfeld! “are required to go through security screening before entering the building” and are not permitted “luggage, large bags” or “backpacks”; “FOX News Media has the discretion to refuse admission to this event to any person for any reason.”

Anyway, Gutfeld said of Kimmel, “He and the douchebags who support him will never debate strangers in public in front of thousands. Chris Hayes, (Brian) Stelter and S.E. Cupp (a self-described conservative, by the way) — they will never know what it’s like to stand in front of a massive crowd and wonder, ‘Is there someone out there that might kill me?’ No, they’re too busy parking their lips on Kimmel’s ass. But me? This weekend, I’m doing live shows. There will be thousands of people there. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’ll be scanning the audience for one weirdo or two, but I’m not going to hide, and neither should you.”
Again, guests at both Allentown’s PPL Center and Foxwoods, where Gutfeld will be performing this weekend, are subject to search by security personnel.
Gutfeld wrapped up by saying that in order to do what Kirk would do — risking an assassination — you have to “be a little dangerous” by “telling the truth.” The Kimmel supporters on centrist news just “mirror the mob, the mob that kept them safe”: “True, they can be fired, but they aren’t being fired upon.”
To track this logic, Gutfeld is saying that he welcomes the opportunity to face detractors as bravely as Charlie Kirk did and experience whatever consequences ensue. So if you want to challenge Gutfeld to a debate — the more aggressive the better, it seems — tickets are still available.
