I'm not QUITE so sure what's so funny about these comics. I read them thinking, "Yeah, alright, this is the one that'll at least get a chuckle outta me," but I find that it does not. I don't see why so many people are spouting such vehement comments towards it, but I also do not see why some people are longtime fans of WN. The humor seems puerile in nature. meh.

omglol: I never said you weren't allowed to say whatever you wish. Actually, I believe I encouraged it, as you saying whatsoever you wish just brightens my day because I get to feel smarter when reading all of your collective stupidity.

For those who are ranting about how one of the greatest web-comics ever sucks: Keep your comments to YOURSELF. Instead of making the place terrible to visit because of your pathetic whining, just email the owner! Stop hoping on a small chance that the owner is going to read these comments! For pete's sake, you guys are pathetic!

WORST WEBCOMIC EVER

Posted on 9/15/2008 3:41:14 PM

It's possible, though unlikely, that there is worse content somewhere out there. Indeed, the Law of Large Numbers virtually demands it. However, I can't for the life of me imagine what form it could take, as I would rather marry Cathy while f*****g Garfield than to ever stumble onto another one of these comic turds. Jesus Christ, this s**t is the most infantile, the most painfully unfunny crap since The Day the Laughter Died, part 2.

Gotta admit, White Ninja is far from being my favourite webcomic (I find no humour in the random violence "jokes"), but reading the vitriol-infused commentary that it inspires is a great pick-me-up on a long day. It reminds me that no matter how much my life sucks, there are people out there who are so thoroughly worthless that they spend their time complaining about something that's provided to them FOR FREE, and which they view OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL. Makes me feel really special and intelligent.

FFFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!

I think next week should feature a brussel sprouts sandwich on Garlic Bread... that would be HILARIOUS!

Posted on 9/15/2008 9:59:11 AM

To BakaToTheFuture (awesome name, btw!):
To use the same analogy, I think in this case it's more the case the lasagna comes free with a side of brussell sprouts. You don't have to eat them, and you can ask that they 'hold the sprouts' on the order. But it seems what people want is to exchange the sprouts for something more Italian (like garlic bread).

Cigar -- suppose I decide to get carry-out from an eatery that I frequent regularly. The eatery in question delivers a mean lasagna, which is the main reason I go there.

Suppose this eatery also offers brussels sprouts. I detest brussels sprouts. They offend my sense of taste.

What am I to do? My favorite eatery offers something I absolutely cannot stand.
The revelation: I don't order the brussels sprouts!

Cracked isn't sacred. It's not "sullied" by material that fails to meet your standards, or mine. You're sounding like some kind of fundamentalist Cracked fan: "Cracked is all that is good and right, but White Ninja is the devil."

Posted on 9/15/2008 8:21:03 AM

I find it grating because the humor (I haven't found any yet, but apparently some people do) is very alien compared to the usual fare of Cracked (which is the main point of contention, I think). I keep clicking on it hoping to find something Cracked-like, but every single time it seems the author goes to a playground and polls pre-schoolers for material (like: "What is a bagel sandwich?" or "How do you learn Karate?") and then draws a comic about it. It's like if you were watching Conan and for some reason Paul Reiser comes on for 10 minutes to do his bit. I can change the channel, but I'd rather sit through Conan appropriate filler.

This comic DOES offend me. Its stupidity and those who are idiotic or simpleminded or drugged up enough to enjoy it coming onto my favorite web site and sullying it with this tripe OFFENDS the crap out of me.

White Ninja FTW! Hooray webcomics.

Posted on 9/15/2008 6:06:16 AM

Seriously, people.
You are complaining because you don't like the comic. Not because it offends you, not because you think it is inaccurate... Simply because you do not really like this kind of humor. I have a simple solution for you: don't keep reading the web comic! If you want to see something more in-keeping with your particular humor, then go find something instead of posting a comment. (Yes I do see the irony here)

Posted on 9/15/2008 3:29:56 AM

Why do people complain ? just don't read the friggin' article if you don't like white ninja. It's not like it was taking the place of something else, and it probably takes Cracked staff around 5 minutes to post the article so it's not even taking them valuable time that they could use for something funnier... that said, it is true that it's a very peculiar humor.

First of all, it's not like they cleverly camouflage the comic as a list or anything; You have to click on the link on the mainpage, clearly labeled as leading to the comic, to read it, so it really shouldn't be all that hard to avoid it. Secondly, even if it WAS hard to avoid the comic, seems to me it takes a very special kind of dickwad to complain about FREE entertainment. And lastly, if the comic was really hurting their hits, I'm guessing they'd have some way of telling - like, say, checking the server stats - that didn't rely on commenters foaming at the mouth.

That being said, do keep it up. The comic's uncanny ability to piss off tight-asses is half the fun.

I went on the site thinking some might actually be funny. No dice.

Posted on 9/14/2008 9:48:33 PM

How long did it take to make this comic? 2 minutes while eating lunch? This is terrible.
