Serena Tara is a New York-based (and real Italy-born-and-raised) writer and editor who thinks everything is funny, if you really think about it.
Currently, she is the Social Media Editor and Creator at CRACKED, where she oversees the site's creative direction on socials. Previously, she was an editor at eBaum's World, and before that, she was a staff writer at Thrillist, reporting on travel, astronomy, and somehow, suspiciously-placed (*wink, wink*) hotel chairs. During her nearly decade-long career in digital journalism, she has written for numerous publications, including Salon.com, Marie Claire, and New York Magazine's Bedford+Bowery, among other outlets.
She holds a master's degree in Digital Journalism from NYU's Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute and she's tired of explaining that "Tara" isn't her middle name.
