It’s hard to be good at one particular art form. Sure, we as humans can enjoy multiple types of art as leisure or as a hobby, but to be a professional at it requires a combination of innate talent, hard work, and a lot of luck. Some folks, however, let their hubris tell them otherwise.

It takes a lot of time and effort to make it as an actor or a musician. It takes twice as much (if not more so) to be a talented professional at both. Most of the time, a famous actor going into music or a musician going into acting is going to fail. We mean, your Aunt Kathy is an amazing chef and has owned and operated her bakery for 20 years, but you’d probably question her if you thought she’d be a successful carpenter out of nowhere.

Rihanna
