Tell Us Now: 21 Movies That Made Us Cry

There's nothing like a good movie to help you escape the everyday grind.

In every movie, there's always that one part that just gets us right in the feels. For some, it might be that climactic scene where the protagonist finally defeats the antagonist. For others, it might be a touching moment between two characters that just tugs at our heartstrings. However, there are also those movies that are so emotionally powerful that they make us outright cry. Whether it's because of the film's subject matter or the way it's executed, these movies have the ability to move us in a way that few others can. Some of our favorites include "Schindler's List," "The Fault in Our Stars," and "Up." What are some of the movies that have made you cry?

We asked Cracked Readers on Facebook, “What was the last movie that made you cry, and why did it hit you so hard?” The most common answer was Coco, with other Pixar movies sweeping the responses. If you're looking for a tear-jerker, here are 20 other movies to consider…

TELL US NOW. THE RISE OF SKYWALKER James W. tells US, When you hear Han say 'Heya, kid' and then Ben has the conversation with his memory. I lost my dad in 2009, and I was in the theater with my own sons when I saw this. As soon as you see Han's face the waterworks let loose. I was shaking and my son just patted my hand and said he loved me. Even a 16-year-old kid could see what it meant to me. CRACKED.COM

But it was really the song Know Who You Are that hit me and still does any time I hear it. A person very dear in my life lost a big part of herself when she lost her child. To the point where she is almost unrecognizable some days. I miss her and hearing that song just really makes me think of

TELL US NOW. LES MISERABLES Michael M. says, I'm usually pretty stoic when it comes to watching movies, but when Hugh Jean Valjean sang 'Bring Him Home' over Marius, seeing Jean Valjean basically give his blessing to and accepting his adopted daughter's love interest just before he goes to battle, I started welling up. The Cat Stevens helps too. CRACKED.COM
