24 Deleted Scenes They Should Have Left In Movies

As a kid, my favorite part about the holiday season was the Harry Potter marathon on ABC Family. Sure, I owned all of the movies on DVD and could watch them any time I wanted, but the ones that aired around Christmas had deleted scenes baked right into the runtime. Apparently, the network wanted to provide a different biewing experience so that fans would tune in, and it totally worked on me. I have fond memories of being surprised by a scene of Aunt Petunia finding Hogwarts letters inside of eggs and of Snape chastising naughty students for making out in a carriage at the Yule Ball.
These deleted scenes are pretty much just extra fluff, but some movies trimmed down their theatrical releases so much that they kind of don’t make much sense at all without the extra context. So much so that the deleted scenes have to be considered canon; here is a list of such occurences.
