Life in the 1970s was very different from what it is today, but it was also somewhat the same, if that makes any sort of sense. The transition from the sixties was almost overnight, with clothes changing completely how people looked, from serious suits to colorful clothes and a lot of matching outfits never seen before.
All kinds of new music genres brewed, and the youth felt younger than ever thanks to more comfortable clothes and everything the flower power era left behind. For kids, toys started to get really good as they were able to capture the feeling of being part of a football match or a G.I. Joe story. And parents started experimenting with pre-cooked meals and other food innovations that changed the game for many, even if they don't like to remember those things today.
