19 Pairs of TV Characters That Would Make the Best Crossover Spin-Off
Crossovers and spin-offs are as common as perfectly positioned Toyotas on primetime TV. The longer a series airs, the more likely it is to cross paths with the characters from another series on the same network, provided they're both set in the same time/city/planet and the network is desperate enough for ratings. Conversely, if the ratings are really good, a network might poach a side character and get two shows for the price of one.
So why have so few of them thought to do both? That is, take two characters from different series and team them up? It's not like there's simply too many original characters on TV these days. There are plenty of kindred spirits we'd love to see join forces, as well as complete opposites ripe for an odd coupling.
That's why u/SittingInTheDark asked r/AskReddit, “If you could pair up any two characters from completely different TV shows for their own 'spin-off,' who would you choose?”
