Generally, horror movies aim for maximum shock and surprise, right? Well, if we’re focused too much on what could be around the corner (or in the dank basement), tasty little Easter eggs like these pass us right by.

Knowing where the jump-scares and twists were, we were able to hone in on these much more subtle details during our second viewing. Man, horror creators are even better at misdirection than we thought!

Hereditary
