As we’re sure someone said while breaking the bad news to Lorne Michaels, “Well, they can’t all be Wayne's World!” 

Whether he took that in stride or not isn’t for us to worry about, but that bad-news-breaker was right. They truly cannot all be Wayne's World. Heck, some of these couldn’t even be It's Pat! And some of them didn’t even go into production. 

Whatever stage these far-from-Wayne's-World projects got, they probably should’ve never ventured further than SNL sketches.

STUART SAVES HIS FAMILY NEEDED BOX OFFICE THERAPY CRACKED.COM HAROLD (GROUNDHOG DAY) RAMIS IS ON HAND TO MAKE STUART BETTER THAN YOU MIGHT EXPECT. CRITIC ROGER EBERT FOUND IT GOOD ENOUGH AND SMART ENOUGH, BUT DOGGONE IT, MOVIE VIEWERS DIDN'T LIKE IT, FAILING TO EARN EVEN ONE MILLION DOLLARS.

Hans and Franz

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM WE'LL PROBABLY NEVER GET TO SEE HANS AND FRANZ: THE GIRLY MAN DILEMMA. Dana Carvey says it was kind of like Austin Powers in a sense, written with Robert Smigel and Conan O'Brien. It was really cool, it was just very heavy on Arnold and Arnold decided not to do it at the last second.

THE SNL MOVIE NEVER GOT PAST THE SCRIPT STAGE UNPRODUCED CRACKED.COM IN 1990, SNL WRITERS PENNED A SCREENPLAY FOR A 90-MINUTE FILM FEATURING CAST MEMBERS IN COMEDY SKETCHES, INCLUDING DANA CARVEY AS BUSH. MAYBE IT NEVER GOT MADE BECAUSE IT'S ON EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT FOR FREE?

Wayne’s World 2

WAYNE'S WORLD 2 IS NOT WORTHY WORLD CRACKED.COM THE WORST MIKE MYERS MOVIES ARE GOOD FOR A FEW LAUGHS. BUT WAYNES WORLD 2 TRIES TOO HARD TO RECREATE BEATS FROM THE ORIGINAL RATHER THAN PARTY ON TO NEW BITS. STILL A STEP UP FROM THOSE CREEPY UBER EATS COMMERCIALS.

CONEHEADS WAS EIGHTEEN YEARS TOO LATE Tay's CRACKED.COM RELEASING A CONEHEADS MOVIE IN 1993 WOULD BE LIKE MAKING 'LAZY SUNDAY' INTO A FEATURE TODAY. SURE, WE'D BE CURIOUS, BUT THE MOMENT SEEMS TO HAVE COME AND GONE. THE ESSENTIAL JOKE - - THEY HAVE CONES FOR HEADS--DOESN'T HOLD LAUGHS FOR 90 MINUTES.

Superstar

SUPERSTAR SNIFFS ITS CINEMATIC ARMPITS CRACKED.COM SUPERSTAR WAS MORE PROMISING THAN OTHER 90S-ERA SNL MOVIES BECAUSE MARY KATHERINE GALLAGHER SEEMED LIKE A REAL (THOUGH PROFOUNDLY WEIRD) PERSON. THE MOVIE FALLS FLAT EXCEPT FOR THE SCENES WHERE SHE GETS BUSY WITH TREES.

Superfans

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM THERE'S A SCRIPT WRITTEN FOR A BILL SWERSKI'S SUPERFANS MOVIE. Banka CHICAGO Russ el Jordan CHICAGO au RIHIS Chicago oils It was written by Bob Odenkirk and Robert Smigel, and it's about Superfans traveling the country amid a football strike. Chances are it'll never get made, though.

Coffee Talk

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM IN THE '90S, THEY WANTED TO MAKE A MOVIE BASED ON SNL'S COFFEE TALKS SKETCHES. Studios wanted something that'd be as successful as Mike Myers' Wayne's World, so they hit up SNL sketches for material - and, for some reason, sketches like Coneheads got picked over Myers' Coffee Talk.

MacGruber

MACGRUBER HAS A STALK OF CELERY UP HIS *SS CRACKED.COM MANY SNL MOVIES SUFFER FROM A LAZY LACK OF AMBITION. MACRUBER ISN'T ONE OF THEM. IT SHOOTS FOR 'OVER THE TOP' AND GETS THERE WITH WEIRD SEX, EVERY MANNER OF EXCREMENT, AND MASSIVE EXPLOSIONS. BUT A MESS IS STILL A MESS.

Dieter

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM AFTER AUSTIN POWERS BECAME A HIT, DIETER ALMOST DID, TOO. Based on Mike Myers' sketch about a West German TV show host, it was supposed to feature Will Ferrell - but it never got off the ground.

X-Presidents

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM THERE'S AN X-PRESIDENTS MOVIE SCRIPT THAT'LL PROBABLY NEVER GET MADE. Robert Smigel said, I wrote a crazy Ex-Presidents movie with Adam McKay that was just meant to be completely silly and very cheap. I was just trying to get it produced for like, $3 million.

Key Party

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM SETH MEYERS PITCHEDKEY PARTY IN THE MID-2000S TO PARAMOUNT STUDIOS. Apparently. it was supposed to be about a couple looking to spice up their love life by going to a key party, which in turn threatens to destroy their marriage.

The Ambiguously Gay Duo

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM WE NEARLY GOT AN AMBIGUOUSLY GAY DUO AS A FULL-LENGTH MOVIE. A G It was supposed to star Jimmy Fallon and Alec Baldwin, but things just didn't work out - apparently, the stumbling block was the ownership of the characters.

Peepers

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM IN AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE, WE GOT TO SEE A MOVIE BASED ON SNL'S PEEPERS SKETCH. And that universe is really different - because the Peepers script that exists was written as a joke by comedy writer Justin Becker, but it's apparently still really funny.

Stefon

COMEDY NERD CRACKED.COM THEY TALKED ABOUT MAKING A MOVIE BASED ON SNL'S STEFON AT ONE POINT. As John Mulaney said the film would be kind of like 24 Hour Party People, so like a narrative documentary where he is the correspondent on SNL Weekend Update.
