Whether you love the Purge series of films or you need most of your hand to count to your high school GPA, you can’t deny that they really let a lot of fascinating implications go unexplored. It all focuses on roving gangs of murderous psychopaths attacking obvious targets, like wealthy home security tycoons and people dumb enough to go outside during the Purge. What about average families and groups of friends? Or maybe those just a little wittier and more dramatic than average?
