Of all the A- and B-listers to blow their stack, only one of these guys yelled at a puppet.

Lethal Weapon

Clayne Crawford said he was bribed to keep quiet about the crazy behavior he witnessed, but after he was fired for allegedly screaming at an AD, he spilled the beans on Damon Wayans. Wayans was accidentally hit by some shrapnel from a staged explosion, and claimed Crawford had intentionally targeted him. He refused to do any more stunts (like squatting, for example), for the rest of the episode. Crawford told Wayans he was only famous because of his brother, and soon after he was replaced by Seann William Scott.

Orphans

So I would follow him from rehearsal to his home. I needed to have closure.”

Mad Max: Fury Road

When Tom Hardy showed up to work three hours late, Charlize Theron cursed him out from afar. Hardy reportedly charged at her like a bull, demanding, “What did you say to me?!” That was enough to make her request added security, and to have a producer by her side at all times until production was over.

Deadpool

Disgraced comedian T.J. Miller had some major beef with soccer buff Ryan Reynolds, with Reynolds reportedly clocking Miller as a weasel: “You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it’s funny and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.”

Silicon Valley

Miller also made some enemies on Silicon Valley, with Alice Wetterlund calling him a “bully and petulant brat.” She said the rest of her male coworkers enabled his bad behavior.

The Santa Clause

According to Casey Wilson, Tim Allen was “such a bitch” and “so fucking rude,” passive aggressively commenting on Wilson’s performance within earshot. He also decided to end one workday by yelling “Leaving!” and dropping his Santa costume on the spot for a stand-in to put on.

Arrested Development

Jessica Walter says that Jeffrey Tambor blew up at her on set — “In like almost 60 years of working, I’ve never had anybody yell at me like that on a set” — and the rest of the cast reportedly stood with Tambor while Walter was crying alone.

Grace Under Fire

Brett Butler couldn’t stop flashing people, including her prepubescent on-screen son. She was finally fired after throwing a soda can at the EP in front of a live studio audience. She admits that “at the bloody bitter end, I really was difficult. I was out of my mind. Drugs will do that to you.”

NCIS

Mark Harmon refused to quit bringing his dog to work with him, even after it attacked a coworker, giving the crewmember 16 stitches. From then on, Pauley Perrette refused to work with him. They had to film on different dates and were clunkily edited together any time their characters interacted.

ALF

The classically trained Max Wright reportedly got sick of “playing second fiddle to a puppet,” and one day unloaded on the puppet screaming, “Put us on sticks! We’re all puppets here!”
