20 Movies That Had People Reaching for the Pepto-Bismol

‘I think even my stomach tried to crawl out of my mouth in revolt’
20 Movies That Had People Reaching for the Pepto-Bismol

Movies are supposed to evoke the full range of emotions, which we learned from one includes joy, sadness, fear, anger, disgust and nothing else. For each of those, respectively, we have comedies, dramas, horror movies and the Star Wars prequels, but there’s not really a genre that exists solely to be disgusting. It works its way through them all, from gross-out comedies to excessively gory horrors, to trigger our gag reflexes when we least expect it.

For Redditor haroldsloverboy, it was when they watched A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, a movie that depicted Freddy Krueger killing a woman by force-feeding her own organs to her as well as a twisted, deformed little baby Freddy. It’s a lot, even for a franchise that previously featured Freddy going all chestburster.

They then asked r/AskReddit, “What movie made you feel physically sick?” Here’s how their fellow Redditors responded…

Cannibal Holocaust

Hostel: Part II

A Clockwork Orange

Oldboy

Cloverfield

Casino

The Perfect Storm

Saving Private Ryan

The Passion of the Christ

The Last House on the Left

The Thing

Bone Tomahawk

Sleepers
