Everyone Wants Dee to Hook Up With The Waitress on ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’

Their ideal Season 18 episode: ‘Sweet Dee Is Banging the Waitress’
Everyone Wants Dee to Hook Up With The Waitress on ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’

As Charlie Kelly tries to rekindle his romance with The Waitress, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia fans have found themselves left with one burning question: What about Dee?

With a potential Charlie-Waitress reunion on the horizon, one fan took a moment to reflect on The Waitress’ certified homie-hopper status, asking why after dating Charlie in Season 12 as well as hooking up with Dennis, Mac and Frank at various points throughout the show’s 17 seasons, the ex-barista doesn’t just go for the entire gang.

“Why hasn’t Dee banged the Waitress?” they asked in a post shared to the Always Sunny subreddit. “It’s kinda screwed up she’s the only one in the Gang who hasn’t given her a go.”

Making the rounds on both Reddit and Twitter, this ask prompted not only some very important clarifications — “Mac didn’t bang the waitress, it was just hand stuff,” one commenter noted — but also a call for Philly’s famous female foes to look past their differences and get together already.

“Enemies to lovers, need it rn,” wrote a fan as another crafted the perfect Season 18 episode title: “Sweet Dee Is Banging the Waitress.”

A third fan said they first saw a potential romance between Dee and The Waitress back in Season 13, hoping the pair would make it official during “The Gang Beats Boggs: Ladies Reboot.” “When the Waitress learns about Dennis’ (mile-high club) record and claims that she’s gonna beat it even though there was only one man on the plane, I was desperately hoping that she and Dee would hook up,” they explained.

Yet another theory about a potential previous hookup? That The Waitress may have rejected Dee while she was quite literally stuck in the mud during the show’s ill-fated Ireland trip. “Definitely canon,” they added. “Can see Dee offering anything to get out of that bog.”

Regardless of what happens between these first ladies of Always Sunny, I’m certainly seated for the D.E.E. system of lesbian situationships.
