Kardashians Accuse Daniel Tosh of Spreading Rumors ‘For Clout’

Daniel Tosh was telling tales out of the grocery store on his Tosh Show podcast this week, and TV’s first reality family isn’t happy about it.

While setting up an interview with his celebrity hair doctor (“I gotta keep looking 45”), Tosh shared some gossip he’d heard while at his local grocery store in Malibu. The comic chatted up one of the store’s employees, asking, “Why were you guys closed yesterday?” The grocery store guy, presumably in hushed tones, revealed that he wasn’t supposed to tell anyone but Keeping Up With the Kardashians had filmed their season finale in the store that day. Dirty secret #1: Either Tosh or Grocery Store Guy believes Keeping Up With the Kardashians is still on the air. (It’s now The Kardashians on Hulu.)

But that wasn’t the secret that got the family hot and bothered. “Spoiler alert,” warned Tosh — and if his information is right, let that be your spoiler alert as well. “This is the big season finale. This random grocery store person is telling me that they rented out the entire store, shut it down. And then they acted like they were grocery shopping. And then this was the scene that apparently happened: Kylie reveals that she's pregnant again with… wait for it… Timothée Chalamet’s kid.”

Tosh is decidedly underwhelmed as he punctuates the news with a deadpan, “Holy moly. What a bombshell. That’s big news in our household because we love Wonka.”

Is Tosh reporting facts? “This might not be true,” he emphasized. “I am not verifying anything. This is just what an employee at a grocery store in Malibu told me.” We got you, Tosh — very large grain of salt taken.

And according to TMZ, Team Kardashian is calling BS. The website cites “production sources” who say that not only isn’t Kylie pregnant, but the show has not filmed at a grocery store this season. The plot thickens!

TMZ says that “people familiar with the situation,” which at this point could be an actual Kardashian or Jenner or anyone reading this article, claim that Tosh was recklessly spreading lies for clout. How could Jenner be pregnant when TMZ posted pictures of the reality star sipping her signature Sprinter alcoholic spritzer in recent weeks? Case closed.

Still not convinced? Per The Daily Mail, “a source” says the Chalamet/Jenner pregnancy is 100 percent false, once again accusing Tosh of trying to stir up attention for his podcast. And sure, maybe that’s what Tosh is up to, although family confidantes appear to be the ones contacting all the gossip rags to deny a story most people would have never heard about. The not-really “scandal” also suspiciously coincides with a new Kardashians season that drops next month.

As for Tosh? A check of his Twitter feed reveals he’s much more concerned with his TV-worthy hairline than the Kardashian gossip. Keeping that mane is pricey and “it f*cking hurts!”
