Elon Musk making another strange business decision on Twitter is quickly becoming a daily occurrence. This time he’s announced that he’s made a personal request to hide headlines and text on news articles shared on the app in order to “greatly improve the esthetics.” Yes, that’s how he spelled aesthetics. While some of his sycophants have praised the decision and claim that it’ll reduce the amount of clickbait on the website, all it will likely do is usher in a new wave of YouTube-style clickbait thumbnails. 

Meanwhile, for those who missed the Evian and cheese sandwiches at the fraudulent music festival that inspired not one but two documentaries, your time is now. Convicted con artist Billy McFarland, who was released in 2022 after serving time for his involvement in the ill-fated Fyre Festival, took to YouTube to announce the revival of the festival that was inspired by a “seven-month stint in solitary confinement.” According to his 50-page plan, Fyre Festival II is coming to a Caribbean location near you by the end of 2024. Allegedly.

And of course, the timeline has been blessed yet again with some hilarious tweets, including those about the duality of not understanding David Lynch, Winnie the Pooh’s secret to longevity and a very relatable job title.
