A Viral Digital Artist Imagines What ‘Simpsons’ and ‘South Park’ Characters Would Look Like in Real Life

With Lilo & Stitch in the pipeline as Disney’s next live-action remake, there’s one Brazilian artist the studio may want to recruit to assist in creating the little blue freak that is Stitch. For now, though, TikToker and graphic artist @np_artes has been using their talents to create realistic versions of animation’s most beloved icons, from Kermit the Frog to characters from South Park. I’m using the word “realistic” very loosely here, as the transformations are more texturally realistic than biologically correct.

In the videos, which have amassed millions of views throughout the duration of the project, @np_artes sources corresponding animal skins, garments and other accouterments for the specific characters they are recreating. They then warp and mold materials to maintain the form and integrity of the base character. Some of the characters use a hodgepodge of body parts from multiple sources, while others, like Homer Simpson, is solely Vin Diesel’s face manipulated to the form of the donut-loving patriarch. @np_artes is even committed to ensuring that props like chairs and backgrounds are replaced with real objects. The final products are the very thing that Mary Shelley tried to warn us about when she wrote Frankenstein.

While we’re not exactly sure what prompted @np_artes to use their insane talent to produce such horrifying creations, what we do know is that whoever openly requests or commissions them to recreate Mrs. Incredible belongs on a government watch list.
