"... for their patients who chew gum." is a HUGE caveat. Do not let Crest Toothpaste ads lead you to believe that 80% of all Dentists recommend you chew their gum. They merely recommend it for those patients who are already chewing it.
If you are not already a habitual gum chewer, I don't recommend you become one.
