13 Awful SNL Guest Hosts We Forgot About

Saturday Night Live has been on the air for more than 40 years, and in that time, the show has had some amazing guest hosts. Some of these guest hosts are well-known celebrities, while others are comedians who may be less familiar to audiences. Regardless of who they are, all of SNL's guest hosts have brought something unique to the show.

SNL is an institution. Every Saturday night, Americans tune in to watch their favorite funny people parody the week's events. But what about the hosts that are just...blah? The ones that you forget about as soon as they're off-stage? Some people make an appearance on Saturday Night Live and then disappear forever. They're the forgotten SNL guest hosts. You might not remember these people, but they were hilarious in their respective appearances.

Adrien Brody

COMEDY NERD Adrien Brody got banned from the SNL set after hosting it one time. When he introduced musical guest Sean Paul, he sported dreadlocks and used an awful fake Jamaican accent, which did not go over well at all. CRACKED.COM


Martin Lawrence

COMEDY NERD Martin Lawrence hosted SNL once, and got permanently banned for it. Не just went off-script when the show started, and went into a long monologue about feminine hygiene. It was genuinely offensive, and was received accordingly. CRACKED.COM


Lindsay Lohan

COMEDY NERD Lindsay Lohan hosted SNL in 2012 - that was her fourth time ever, in fact. According to Hollywood Reporter's summary of the critics' consensus, the best that could be said was that it was not the worst thing that's ever happened to the late-night show. CRACKED.COM


Ronda Rousey

COMEDY NERD Ronda Rousey hosted SNL in 2016, and it kind of felt really half-hearted. A blizzard had hit NYC when they were making the show, and you could tell everything was basically forced - the sketches felt like they could've been written for anybody. CRACKED.COM


Sinead O'Connor

COMEDY NERD Sinead O'Connor tore up a photo of the Pope during her appearance on SNL. It was her way of speaking out against the child abuse scandals that had been wracking the Church. CRACKED.COM


Steven Seagal

COMEDY NERD Steven Seagal hosted SNL on April 20, 1991, and just about everybody hated it. SNL alum David Spade later said that maybe his one-inch ponytail was too tight that night, but whatever it was, he came off as wooden and totally devoid of any comic instinct. CRACKED.COM


Rudy Giuliani

COMEDY NERD Back in 1997 - on November 22 -- Rudy Giuliani himself guest-hosted SNL. In a move that's so self-aware it would be unimaginable for him today, he kind of made fun of himself and of NYC. CRACKED.COM
