When you’re an astronaut, you drink pretty much the same coffee every day -- as in, the same liquid. That’s right, just like almost everything else–it’s recycled and reused. Do you know why? It’s because those brave souls are trapped in space, separated from an infinite inky void only by a thin sheathing of hyper advanced alloys, bubble gum and good ol’ human courage.  We might have made up the bubble gum thing, but the point is that situation is not for the faint of heart.

The trials and tribulations of our fine space faring heroes don’t end there either. Consider the mysterious SPACE BLINDNESS that often strikes astronauts, or the weird SPACE SMELL that no earth dweller can know (yes, that’s a thing).
