’50s Photos Showing Not Everything Was Strait Laced
The fifties aren't the first decade you think about when you think about cool young people having fun, but there was a lot of that back then. If you weren't a rockabilly, history wasn't going to remember you, but that didn't mean you couldn't enjoy a peaceful life with your loved ones after a tough decade for the entire world.
Music was shifting, bringing new sounds that made people gather and dance like never before. The world was in black and white, as we all know, but that didn't stop anyone from having a great time, as the world stepped into a completely different era.
Here are some '50s photos showing not everything was straitlaced.
