Born on January 10, 1945, he grew up in a family with Scottish and English roots in North London. Music made him famous, although his first steps in the working world were far from what anyone would imagine.
Rod Stewart has had a hectic personal life, with multiple romantic relationships, eight children from five different mothers, and several marriages. His first partner was Suzannah Boffey, with whom he had a daughter, Sarah.
In 1979 he married Alana Hamilton, from whom he separated in 1983. He then had a relationship with model Kelly Emberg and married Rachel Hunter in 1990, with whom he had two children and whom he divorced in 2006. Since 1999, Stewart has been in a relationship with Penny Lancaster, whom he married in 2007 and with whom he had two children.
