Forgotten Jobs That Time Passed By

Way before AI took all of our jobs
Forgotten Jobs That Time Passed By

Jobs today are under the threat of AI, as more and more companies look to replace workers with automatized processes that are way cheaper, even when they are not as good as the real thing. However, this isn't news, as it has happened many times before.

The Industrial Revolution is probably the first thing that comes to mind, especially because AI-enablers use it as an example of progress and a reason to trust AI with pretty much everything. But in history, there were many more times were jobs people couldn't live without were quickly replaced with a better and faster alternative overnight.

Most of these have to do with the fast evolution of technology over the years, but others are simply not around anymore because they're not needed. Those jobs were created to help people with needs that don't exist anymore, thanks to modern medicine, revolutionary technology, and a lot of common sense.
