We normally think about special effects when we hear the term movie magic, but today we realized that the “magic” can mean a lot of things. The fact that these fictional characters are shown to be compatible at all is definitely out of the realm of reality. 

The creators tried to get us to be supportive of these movie and TV romances, but our suspension of disbelief just couldn’t be stretched that far.

Superbad
