I bought a rat from a pet store once and I kept it in a cage. People like cats and dogs, I like rats. It died. The funny part is, it was female, but her name was Ball 3 (translated from Bulgarian). Her name was Ball 3 because I had 2 hamsters (both female) and guess what their names were. Ball 1 and Ball 2. Go buy yourself a beer, you earned it. But they died too.
Why am I telling you this? I don't know. But I totally did.
Did I have to tell you this? Probably not. But it happened.
