Eh, it kind of went the unoriginal killing-beloved-cartoon-characters-is-so-funny route. Childhood favorites + blood/sex doesn’t always equal funny. Sometimes it can be done well, but here the jokes aren’t great and the art is truly terrible. It looks like it was done by a twelve-year-old with Photoshop.

K, 99% of you can ignore this, don’t wanna distract from anything, but for, like, the 5 people who can’t resist the whole ‘I didn’t like it’ comments, as though everything on the internet is posted here just awaiting your approval to validate its existence, lemme tell you what your comments aren’t. They’re not clever, insightful, telling, witty or bold. But here’s what they ARE: envision a room full of people watching a well-known comic (because most of us reading this know who DOB is and are familiar with his style) and the show wraps up in laughter and applause - as represented by the comments. Then, as you hear chairs shuffling, and people start to think, “Well, that was nice, what now?” the voice of a retard pipes up from the back, loud and indignant, “Dah wah-unt funnay!” That’s what your comments are to everyone with an IQ over 90. Saying something like, “Not my thing,” or “not as good as usual” - those are fine. We can all agree or disagree, that’s dandy. But things like, “Hah, so funny. I guess, if funny means boring and predictable to you” strike you as really really clever, then you should either focus on studying for your third-grade spelling test you’ll have on Monday, or if you’re not in third grade, then you should probably eat a big box of rat poison, because the whole “you’re very ‘x’ . . . if ‘x’ means (something idiotically negative)” got old for most people long before we got pubic hair.
So, good work, DOB. Though I think in the late 40’s, they couldn’t do that ‘blurry’ effect in comics - I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in any from that time, anyway. But other than that, awesome!
