Technology, where would we be without it? In a lot of cases the answer is, probably dead. In others, though, the answer is, not nearly as frustrated and furious at stuff that's supposed to work but doesn't. Either way, there's no escaping tech, it just marches on like time, and in some cases, is tasked with keeping track of it.

There's tech for everything. Need your daily steps measured, no problem. Need to know exactly how much money you have in the bank, got it. Need to hover 65 feet off the ground and shoot lasers for miles? Ok, we don't have that one yet, but it's most assuredly coming.

In what is clearly a transparent grab to get you to buy new stuff, companies are constantly rolling out fancy new gadgets and technology. But because of that push we're surrounded by tech that have been retired by now, or never should have been invented in the first place. Even the most decent product now comes with features that add nothing to its usefulness, or, even more annoyingly, that actually make it worse.
