Between Star Wars, the MCU, the failed Tom Cruise Mummyverse, the DCEU, and an endless parade of Sherlock Holmes things, it can often seem like we're drowning in sequels. Fortunately, most of them are good! You're telling me you wouldn't want to live in a world without Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier? Get right the hell out of town. That movie rules. The first Captain America is fine, but Captain America 2 is sublime. That said, sequel ideas can get a little out of hand sometimes. It's actually hard to capitalize on a good idea.
