We take a lot of things in life for granted. Sometimes, we don't really realize how special something is until it's pointed out to us. Same goes for sizes. How could you possibly know just how big a whale’s heart is without ever dating a whale to find out? Well go take a look at a cow of course – they’re about the same size. Or maybe you want to know a fact you’ll end up regretting that you know. It’s pretty special that you don’t know that fact, but you won’t know that until you know it. So here’s something to ruin it for you: the largest spider in the world, the goliath birdeater tarantula, can weigh more than a newborn puppy. See? Took not knowing that horrifying tidbit of info for granted. We prefer the whale fact ourselves, it’s much more wholesome… or, ahem, whalesome. Eh? Eh? No? Okay, that’s fair.
