20 Times the Soviet Union Didn’t Look That Bad
During the Soviet era, the countries that comprised it lived a normal life. Cities, parks, and public spaces were well-maintained, enjoyed by children and families. Houses and buildings were modern for the time, and daily life wasn't very different from that of the West during those years.
Below, we will see images of everyday activities carried out by the inhabitants of the USSR, such as riding bicycles, enjoying the outdoors, weddings, people going to the beach, and children going to school in their uniforms.
By viewing these images, we can see a society that lived in complete normality, even amidst political tensions, and understand that the customs and culture of that time were no different from those of other nations.
