What it Looked Like to Go to School in the ’70s and ’80s
Schools in the 1970s and 80s were very different in their teaching methods and dress codes. Classrooms had blackboards with chalk, desks were made of wood, and uniforms followed a particular style, very different from today's.
Classrooms had blackboards with chalk and wooden desks. Furthermore, recess was outdoors, and children didn't use electronic devices.
Backpacks didn't have the designs they have today, and notebooks were simpler than they are now. Teachers often assigned homework to be handwritten, and students respected the teachers and their teaching methods, which were prevalent in those years.
Looking at these images will take you on a journey back in time, and you'll see how children enjoyed that era.
