The legendary rocker recently opened up about Weird Al Yankovic’s late ‘90s take on his 1971 hit, arguing that the “Another One Rides the Bus” artist managed to one-up his original work with “The Saga Begins.” “When I heard his version, I thought it was better than the original,” McLean said of Weird Al’s cover, specifically citing the song’s “superb” sound quality. 

Speaking of legendary superfans, Lucille Ball had a lot of love for Three’s Company. While hosting the 1982 retrospective “The Best of Three’s Company,” the I Love Lucy star dubbed it her “kind of comedy,” saying the beloved sitcom resonated with her because “it doesn’t try to change the world or solve any major problems.
