72 of the Funniest Tweets from the Month of June 2025

Long before Charlie Day pined after The Waitress on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the sitcom star had his eye on someone else: Mary Tyler Moore.
During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Day opened up about his early role as “Mailroom Kid” in the 2000 made-for-TV movie Mary & Rhoda, revealing that he was initially confused over his character’s motivation for hitting on the much older TV legend. “I thought it was supposed to be done sort of sarcastically, cause I’m 20 years old,” Day recalled. “Something like, ‘Eh, looking fine, lady. I get down to set, and the director’s like, ‘So you’re really kind of hitting on her.’ And so I had to do it completely differently.’”
Another TV star’s confusion also once made similar waves. In an interview from 2016, late Gilligan’s Island actress Dawn Wells admitted that she didn’t learn the extent of Russell Johnson's World War II service until after he passed away in 2014. “I did not know until the funeral that he got the Purple Heart,” Wells told Oprah. “I knew he fought in World War II, but he was not a bragger.”
Johnson didn’t like to brag, but the funniest people on Twitter aren’t shy about their accomplishments — especially this month’s funniest tweets. June’s best posts included those about Waffle House tourism, Glen Powell’s Barbie moment and what comes between the numbers four and five.
