Margaret Cho can confirm: Ellen DeGeneres is a “mean girl.” 

During a recent appearance on The Kelly Mantle Show, Cho shared her own “creepy and weird” interaction with comedy’s Queen of Mean, revealing that despite opening for DeGeneres multiple times throughout the 1990s, the controversial comedienne was still “not nice” to Cho for most of her career. 

“When I would do her talk show in the 2000s, she acted like we just met,” Cho remembered of their awkward interactions. “And I’m like, ‘Bitch, what?’ That’s weird! Like, we go way back. What?”

Taxi star Randall Carver also took some time to talk about a less-than-ideal career experience. Carver, who was booted from the beloved ‘80s series after its first season, reflected on his departure from the show, saying that he felt his character, Midwest transplant John Burns, posed a unique challenge to Taxi’s production team. “They had all East Coast writers,” he recalled of his short-lived time on the series. “They should have picked some writers from the Midwest that would know what happens when you move to New York and you’re just trying to get around the city.”
