Fans were excited to see an older Peggy Hill in the trailer for King of the Hill’s upcoming revival, but there was something off about the Boggle champion’s new look. As Hank Hill would put it, those feet ain’t right.
The substitute teacher is famed for her respective size 16 and size 16½ feet, so fans were understandably shocked to see her rocking relatively normal-sized kicks, leaving them questioning whether Peggy underwent foot reduction surgery. “A Peggy foot nerf wasn’t on my King of the Hill reboot bingo card,” commented one fan, while another dubbed the cartoon matriarch as having been “un-Tarantino’d.”
Meanwhile, on the sunny side of sitcom news, Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton discussed the often stormy nature of the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia writers’ room, revealing that not a season has gone by where one of them hasn’t wanted to quit the show. “We all hit a point at the end of each writing season where we go, ‘I think that’s it. We’re done,’” McElhenney revealed during the trio’s episode of Hot Ones Versus.
Fortunately, a brand new season of Always Sunny is on the horizon and we have a batch of hilarious tweets to keep us laughing in the meantime. Last week’s funniest included those about the real meaning of doomscrolling, the class implications of Annie’s mac and cheese and what a stingray feels like.
