Jenna Fischer isn’t falling for the propaganda that The Office got worse after Steve Carell’s departure.

The actress recently opened up about filming The Office sans Michael Scott, revealing that while she initially worried the sitcom had gone downhill once the “award nominations stopped,” she was later impressed with the later seasons’ “amazing storylines.” “When I watched everything, some of my favorite episodes were in Seasons Eight and Nine after Steve had left,” Fischer explained during a recent appearance on Dana Carvey and David Spade’s Fly on the Wall podcast. 

As Fischer celebrates The Office’s most underrated installments, Jackie Chan isn’t mincing words about his past work. The action movie legend recently explained how “too much money” and “too much time” made Rush Hour 3 worse than its predecessors. “Too much money is no good,” Chan explained to his lap-full of dogs during BuzzFeed’s “Puppy Interview” series.
