62 of the Funniest Tweets from the Month of May 2025

John Goodman’s role on Roseanne may have been responsible for launching his now-legendary career, but it also sparked an existential crisis that left the star wondering if he even “want(ed) to be an actor anymore.”
In an unearthed interview from 2018, Goodman shared just how badly he wanted out of Roseanne and the entertainment industry as a whole during the sitcom’s early days, revealing that he grew “complacent” and felt “ungrateful” during his time on his first TV hit. “I wanted to leave the show,” he recalled during a sitdown with Today, which resurfaced shortly after The Conners’ series finale. “I handled it like I did everything else — by sittin’ on a bar stool. And that made it worse.”
Randall Einhorn is also carrying some regrets. The storied TV veteran recently recounted how “surreal” it was to direct the Abbott Elementary and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia crossover episodes. “The Deplorable Five, who are fantastic at what they do, meeting our six people who are trying to do the right thing every single day. It shouldn’t have happened,” he marveled.
Just because it shouldn’t have happened doesn’t mean it wasn’t funny — a mantra that can easily be applied to some of this month’s funniest tweets. May’s best posts include those about “ROMO,” unnecessarily sexy photoshoots and how Addison Rae can help you score some serious eBay deals.
