55 of the Funniest Burns from the Month of May 2025

Days after Shane Gillis blamed Tate McRae and her fans for his most recent SNL monologue being a bomb, the Canadian pop star found herself in the hot seat yet again — this time for creating the ultimate NPC track.
McRae, with help from notorious SNL deserter Morgan Wallen, earned her first #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 this month for their duet, “What I Want.” The track is her highest entry on the chart since “Greedy” hit #3 in early 2024, but fans aren’t sold, arguing that the track would probably flop anywhere beyond the confines of “God’s Country.”
“Can’t wait to hear this for the first time while checking out of CVS with my fiber supplement in 2028,” one Twitter user joked of the controversial collaboration.
Until then, though, they can pass the time with this month’s funniest digital burns, the wildest of which skewer Barry Keoghan’s theme-park gig, San Francisco’s required reading and what distinguishes cokeheads from crackheads.
