Do you wish UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s death involved a tasteful kickball change combo and a choir of 19th-century French revolutionaries singing a song of angry men?
If so, it appears you’re far from alone. Luigi: The Musical, a stage production about the accused CEO killer, has already sold out over a month ahead of opening night, per People. The production is reportedly based on the musical Chicago, and is set to premiere at San Francisco’s Taylor Street Theater on May 13th, centering on the “alleged corporate assassin turned accidental folk hero” as he “navigates friendship, justice and the absurdity of viral fame” alongside cellmates Sam Bankman-Fried and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Comedy fans will have to wait and see if Luigi: The Musical lives up to its description as “wildly irreverent” and “razor-sharp,” but for now, they’ve focused their attention on the graphic designers who crafted the art for Seinfeld on Netflix. In a now-viral Reddit post, a few fans had some serious questions about one of the promotional images hyping the ‘90s sitcom: What’s the deal with this A.I. slop?
“Definitely feels A.I. generated,” one fan wrote of the “weird” image, which depicts the fab four, all shown at unusual heights, staring off into space around a nondescript door.
While internet sleuths attempt to find out whether or not Netflix has turned to A.I. in promoting the classic sitcom, there’s one thing we know for certain: These tweets are hilarious. Today’s funniest include those about peeled croissants, a new take on protein popsicles and a Sisyphean task for UPS drivers.
