Bad news for millennials who can’t let go of fictional relationships from The Office: After years of rumors romantically linking Mindy Kaling and former on-screen flame, B.J. Novak, one of them has allegedly moved on with a much-younger TikTok star.
On Monday, People reported that Novak, 45, is officially dating millennial comedian and social media star Delaney Rowe. Though initially linked in November 2024, fans were taken aback by this update, heading to social media — and the comments section of Rowe’s most recent romcom parody — to sound off on the unfolding messiness.
As The Office fans wish their sitcom ship got a happier ending, Monty Python fans don’t have to. During his Monty Python and the Holy Grail live tour this fall, British comedy legend John Cleese proclaimed that for the low, low price of $70, fans can catch a glimpse of the 50-year-old film’s alternate ending. “I have a version of the ending, and as far as I can see, people like it better than the original one,” he recently told The Hollywood Reporter, describing the updated finale, which first premiered in 2017, as “pared down.”
“The original one just takes too long to try and build up the tension,” he continued, “and it would be much better if it had been edited.”
Unlike Monty Python and the Holy Grail, these hilarious tweets are perfect as they are, with the best ones poking fun at cheating Swifties, the joy of summer tomatoes and Billy Mays’ untimely death (fly high, king).
