Amid an ongoing trade war and President Donald Trump’s talks of annexation, Canadians aren’t messing aboot anymore when it comes to the good ‘ol U.S. of A. Take it from comedian Jim Gaffigan, who recently discovered just how “furious” the famously polite folks have grown at their northern neighbors. “My joke was I would bring up that the Canadians were always there,” the American comedian recalled during a recent stop by the We Might Be Drunk podcast. “And now the Canadians are like, ‘We hate you.’”
While a storm may be brewing up in Canada, things are a whole lot sunnier down south in Philadelphia — especially with Charlie Day still gracing our small screens. The It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star recently got candid about his tenure on the long-running FXX sitcom, sharing just how thankful he is that he never threw in an extremely soiled janitor’s towel on the beloved series.
“There was a time when there were a lot of big comedy movies happening, and I thought, maybe I was going to be on the road more often, and then those just kind of dried up,” Day explained on the No Bad Lies podcast. “I’m glad I didn’t quit my TV day job.”
Day’s decision to remain a Sunny staple isn’t the only thing we have to smile about — we also have these hilarious tweets from the past seven days, the best of which include those about microplastic Snoopy, what it means to be a real goth and a “Jim Teacher.”
