‘King of the Hill’s Revival Season Finally Unveils ‘Sexy Peggy’
King of the Hill has long used animation guides to keep Arlen free from “skinny Redcorns,” “laughing or smiling Boomhauers,” and most notably, all-too-sultry Peggy Hills.
“Don’t draw Peggy too shapely,” warns a leaked page from one of King of the Hill’s no-no sheets. To drive this point home, the guide compiles such mistakes into an ultra-steamy sketch of the Hill matriarch, nicknamed “Animator’s Dream Peggy.”

Previously, Animator’s Dream Peggy only existed in these leaked guides and Bill Dauterive’s fantasies. But in the revival season episode “Peggy’s Fadeout,” she’s ready for her close-up.
Don't Miss
Upon returning from Saudi Arabia, Hank discovers that Bill told a few white lies and used a lot of photo editing to convince his new barbershop pals that Peggy Hill is actually Peggy Dauterive. Things come to a head when Hank discovers a trove of images in which Bill superimposed his own head onto Hank’s body and doctored Peggy’s face onto various pinup models to create faux wedding photos.

“You Photoshopped my wife’s head on some buxom trollop!” Hank exclaims.
In fairness, Bill’s image isn’t an exact recreation of the banned Peggy. The photos pay homage to Baywatch’s red swimsuits and classic shots of biker girls, and Peggy’s face and neck have largely remained the same. But her pose and notably exaggerated physique in one of the photos were enough for fans to get the reference.
“I KNEW it looked familiar!!!,” a viewer commented on a post shared to the King of the Hill subreddit, with a second arguing that this addition doesn’t technically cross the show’s animation guide.

“It still doesn’t break the rules if Bill glued her head on someone else’s picture,” they joked.
So if not an animator’s dream of Peggy, it’s certainly Bill’s.
