James Cameron’s blockbuster classic Titanic turned 25 last month, and in celebration of the anniversary, a 3D 4K HDR re-release is scheduled to hit theaters in February — but we like the Arnold Schwarzenegger version better.
Comedian Brian Monarch, along with the voice talents of Joe Gaudet, have spun together a deep-fake improvement to the iconic “Draw me like one of your French girls” scene by recasting the role of Rose with Mr. Olympia himself. While we certainly respect the efforts of Kate Winslet to bring dignity and desire to the classic moment, something about Arnie’s rendition just feels a little more powerful.
If The Governator was floating on that door at the end of the movie, Jack would have been hoisted out of the Atlantic by 22-inch biceps and carried safely to shore. We prefer that version.
Meanwhile, rumor has it that Leonardo DiCaprio is celebrating Titanic turning 25 by losing all interest in it.
