    Why did the messengers have to wait for them to die? It's just a job, they could have gotten together and made out any time they wanted to. And if it was a long enough distance that they had to use two messengers, then they probably were staying the night at an inn anyway before the day's ride back.

    I get and agree with the thought that this doesn't really belong on cracked, because two guys making out is only funny when it's shocking, and two guys who have been falling in love with each other over a span of years finally getting together isn't shocking. And I don't even care. That silent love story was dear and sweet, and that wasn't a wasted three minutes watching it. Makes me feel stupid liking that out of context, but oh well.

      Adams and Jefferson both died on the same day, July 4, 1826. The messengers are presumably crossing paths bringing the news to each other. Adams died a few hours after Jefferson and supposedly his last words were "Thomas Jefferson survives," because they hated each other. This video makes a lot more sense if you know the history.
