In addition, the ending was completely useless and didn't tie anything together. You lost me completely. The office humor just went completely off track at that point and turned into something more absurd, and not in a good way.
With a re-write of the second half, though, this could really have been a winner. The powerpoint humor was hilarious.
The ending was hilarious because the whole point of the presentation was that her work has been slipping and she is never prepared. Then when it comes to the demands, she has none because she didn't even finish her work on that.
I think the other two having guns was maybe passed over too quickly. For me, I recognized how ridiculous it was, but didn't have time to react. In the end, it served more as a distraction.
In terms of taking the guns out completely, I think you've exaggerated how much improvement could be gained. Sure it would have some effect, but I doubt it would make the sketch "much funnier" as you wrote. So it's not really a big deal that they were used.
Also, minivanmonkey had it right about the ending. I guess it's just a matter of if you noticed the connection or not. I personally didn't find it confusing, nor did I think anyone would. Clearly I was wrong, but I think your case might be an exception, rather than the rule.
This was hilarious, don't get why a surprising amount of people don't think so..

I guess posting a unpopular opinion is now "trolling." That was constructive criticism, mainly because it provided reasons why the sketch was poorly done. And once again, if you really hate Cracked as much as it seems like you do, just stop coming here. It will lower your blood pressure, and save us all from having to read your whiny rants.
