ReplyI suspect that if this video didn't have a name attached to it, more people would admit to finding it amusing. It seems that most posters here are dead-set on hating Cody regardless of what he posts. I don't find most of his stuff amusing but this was worth a laugh.
ReplyAlso, a few of the posts lead me to believe that some people didn't get where this was going until the very end. The big white beard didn't give it away? The robots? Space whales? No?
Every day I see big white beards and robots, and yes even space whales so I didn't get it until it said 2097.
i actually thought this was funnier before it made any sense to me. I thought it was about the futuristic absurdity of the present tense. Now that it makes actual sense, though, I do still like the kill/save the space whales t-shirts.

It's taken so long it's in the future. That old joke. In fact. Thats not even a joke. It's taking facts and elongating them like viagra. Think about stuff.
You haven't given an example of where you've seen that joke before, though. You're just explaining what the joke is. And, yeah, I'm pretty sure it was a joke. There was a setup and then a punchline. You know, like a joke. Maybe you didn't like the joke, but it's still a joke. Think about stuff a little better.
Every episode of Futurama?
You're saying one of two things here...
1) Setting something in the future is using jokes from Futurama. Sorry, but Futurama didn't invent the future.
2) The jokes that Futurama does aren't jokes. Read what you wrote. You say it steals the joke, then you say it's not even a joke. Essentially you said, "Futurama's jokes are old jokes. They're not even jokes. They're taking facts and elongating them like viagra."
Think about stuff. Pick a reason you hate this dude and stick with it. You're just pulling reasons out of thin air because you are what they call "a hater." Haters are lazy and nasty because they have no love in their life. Get some love in your life.
