BWM has a valid point, although I haven't seen Arrested Development (don't think we get it in the UK). I haven't seen Two and a Half Men for years but I don't remember it being that bad. Certainly not as bad as Friends was.

I love this, I hate that show, there are, very RARELY, funny moments, but everything is so expected. And Arrested Development was actually unique and unexpected, as opposed to this shite. BWM... I just want to point out that the fact that Two and a Half Men has some of "the most devastating insults" is actually what makes it utterly NOT unique. Your standard three-camera sitcom is packed to the brim with characters who claim to be friends but spend the entire 22-minute episode trying to hurt each other's feelings. TV needs to grow up and realize that friends DO joke around with each other, but they do so trying to make the others laugh, not to make the others want to kill themselves. If I wanted to watch a 22-minute string of insults, I'd become a successful television executive, get Andrew Dice Clay on the phone, and start production on "Of Dice And Men."

I love it when the Internet decides something is "terrible" because it's popular. Two and a Half Men is hilarious, specifically BECAUSE it's unique; it has some of the most devestating insults and crazy moments of any sitcom ever made, but dresses it up to LOOK like a nice, family show (ironically, if you don't believe me, look at the bible thumpers who hate it for that very, stated reason). But no, because it's popular and makes money, and because Charlie Sheen is easy to make fun of, the internet naturally must hate it while they cry over Arrested Development being cancelled, even though THAT show was terrible. I actually guessed that it would be 2 and a half men before the video turned on because Collegehumor did the same exact thing a year ago. These guys should be forced to watch their own videos. Not for torture, but to see what's not funny and feel sad.
