i like kittens just as much as anyone else, but i have more attachment to the older cats that i raised from a kitten, if i was to call kitten again i would be sad about saying goodbye to my cat and have to take a period to get used to the kitten, not to mention getting rid of the old cheap adult cat food and get new expensive kitten food.

Conan did it first and it was also the funniest.

@RadRad I think it's more likely a social issue. Jokes about harming the defenseless, animal or human, are a way for certain types to "look cool" by shunning basic human compassion. It's just an extension of the old; "Being nice is fur queers!" mentality. I call those types the "XXXCALLOUSCOREXXX EXTREME" club.

I read somewhere that jokes about killing cats and small yappy dogs appeal to guys on a primal level because they're substitute babies for women. Once they die, the woman owner needs to fill that void in her life and instinctively wants to make babies. So dead cats = horny chicks. It's basically the human equivalent of lions taking over a pride and killing the cubs so the females will mate with them.
