You can't say Sean Hayes is straight or gay. He purposely refuses to discuss his sexuality because he wants to be able to play any character and make it believable. The guy who played Will on Will&Grace is straight, though.

For those who thought the video lacked subtlety, try looking up Man Stroke Woman on Youtube to see the British originals. The Sam sketches, where he's getting tips from Nick Frost on meeting women, are actually fairly short and quite funny.
